Pretty accessories and an Ebay find

These Zara shoes are super-cute and perfect for work---the blue pointy-flats already have a stand in (a dusty blue pair I bought at a LF season sale eons ago) but I've nothing like the red. Heading to Zara (on my second-to-last day of vacation) to see if they're in stock. (They're $99 each.)

As for these, these are perfect for nothing---I don't lead that kind of life--but they sure are pretty-pret. Also, they're $318 on Otte which is completely out of the realm of my faux-budget; however, I could get one of those Refinery29 deals ($100 for $200, $200 for $300, etc) but even still I don't think it's worth it. Hopefully a vintage shop will have something similar.

And now, for a treat:
These Cynthia Vincent for Target gladiator wedges (sold for $29.99) apparently sold out within minutes when they came out last year. I had no idea they existed until one week ago, when I saw them on the foots of a super-pregnant blogger--and they still looked great. I decided to do a search on them, and plad-dow (as Martin Lawrence would say): they showed up in a size 7.5 this morning. This is usually the way it works when I search for some long forgotten object on my ebay searches--either it shows up right away or not at all. Anyway, if I win it, it'll be my summer wedge (I'll have to wait to score the Dolce Vita Jade's either on ebay or on a super-sale, sad--can't justify too many wedges really).

Etsy Finds

Here's a sweet little section wherein I detail my Etsy discoveries.
Yum! All the work's already done--all I have to do is enjoy.

First up are a pair of suede Ferragamo flats in moss green--vintage from the 1970s and in startingly good condition. These fillies will carry me miles this spring and summer (perhaps I should bring them to cobbler first?).

Next up is a vintage midnight blue blouse (from the same seller, can you tell?) that I picked up over a year ago. This reminds me--I should wear it more often; I had a week one month ago where all I wore was navy blue (since I'd been neglecting items of that color in my closet)---this didn't make it on :( .

Here's one bluish thing I don't find a hard time wearing--my floral Ralph Lauren vintage skirt! So fun and twirly and goes-with-everything from spring to summer. One of my favorite purchases.

Lastly, these rose gold hoops were inexpensive and have done me well over the years--there a bit deformed now, and I'd love to get solid rose gold hoops in the future, but I still wear them.

OOTD: wearing now, for reals.

Took this photo a while back and am again wearing the (same) outfit today---well, sans the tribal necklace.

Club Monaco cashmere sweater, Mikkat Market long-sleeved shirt, Emmersonmade Goldie skirt, American Apparel woven leather belt, African necklace (gift)

This was sort of my late-winter uniform. Mostly due to the fleece-lined tights. Most girls are happy spring is here so they can ditch their tights; I'm just happy that I can get back into regular tights.

FutureWear: Remember the red ASOS skirt?

I thought I'd start a feature wherein I style one of my new favorites in anticipation of engaging in springtime activity.

Forever 21 marbled wool sweater, red ASOS skirt, vintage Ferragamo flats, Forever 21 scallop clutch

This one would be for a late-morning brunch.
If we ever wind up going to brunch (husbo says we will when I lament).

Here's a close-up of these awesome flats (purchased on Etsy--wish I got stuff like this straight from the antique mall):

OOTD: 2 ways to wear the snow leopard dress

J crew cashmere zip-pocket cardigan, Ann Taylor wrap dress, Eryn Brinie shirt, Gap long-sleeve shirt, Plush fleece-lined tights, Chelsea Crew oxfords, Christian Siriano for Payless pumps

An older outfit...
Just need new shoes and a change in attitude!
